Frequently Asked Questions About Online Calculator & Online Booking

 

Do I need to pay a deposit?

No. There is zero deposit and no upfront payment. Payment is due after the cleaning work has been completed.

Are the prices shown in the calculator fixed prices?

Yes. The calculator provides your fixed price based on the services and quantities you select. Please choose the options that accurately describe the items and areas requiring cleaning.

 

Can I book directly through the online calculator?

Yes. Select your services, review your fixed price and complete the booking request form. No deposit or upfront payment is required.

 

Is my booking confirmed immediately?

No. Submitting the form sends us a booking request. We will review your selected services and contact you by phone or text to confirm your appointment.

 

Can I select a Whole House package and additional services?

Yes. You can choose a Whole House carpet package and add sofas, rugs, mattresses, chairs or other eligible services.

 

Can I add individual rooms to a Whole House package?

Yes. The calculator allows you to add individual carpeted areas alongside a Whole House package when additional rooms or areas are not included in the package.

 

Are Whole House packages included in the multi-item discount?

No. Whole House packages are already discounted. Eligible additional services may still qualify for a multi-item discount when their qualifying total passes the relevant threshold.

 

When does the multi-item discount apply?

The discount applies when the eligible service total is over £100, over £200 or over £300. The calculator automatically applies the correct discount.

 

What is your minimum booking value?

The minimum invoice for any visit is £80. Smaller jobs are welcome, and you can add another suitable service to reach the minimum booking value.

 

What happens if my selected services total less than £80?

The calculator will show the adjustment required to reach the £80 minimum booking value. You may also add another useful cleaning service instead.

 

Will I receive a copy of my booking request?

Yes. You will receive an email showing your details, preferred date, additional information, selected services and fixed price.

 

Will Elite Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Ltd receive the same information?

Yes. We receive your complete booking request so we can review the services, quantities, price, address, preferred date and any additional information.

 

Can I request a preferred appointment date?

Yes. You can select a preferred date in the booking form. We will do our best to accommodate it, but appointments remain subject to availability until confirmed.

 

Can I change my selections before booking?

Yes. Use the plus and minus buttons to change quantities. The Clear All button removes every selected item so you can start again.

 

Does the calculator work on mobile phones?

Yes. The calculator and booking form work on desktop computers, tablets and mobile phones.

 

What is included in the price?

Domestic services include the appropriate pre-treatment and deep-cleaning process, stain and odour treatment where possible, FREE sanitising and a FREE fragrance.

 

How long do carpets take to dry?

Most carpets dry within approximately 2–4 hours. Drying time can vary depending on carpet fibre, ventilation, temperature and the level of cleaning required. Wool carpets may take longer.

 

Do you vacuum before cleaning?

Customers should vacuum carpets before we arrive. Our service focuses on professional pre-treatment, agitation where appropriate and deep extraction cleaning.

 

What should I put in the Additional Information box?

Include anything that may help us prepare, such as access details, parking information, pets, stains, odours, preferred arrival time or unusual furniture and fabric details.

 

What should I do if I am unsure which option to select?

Choose the closest matching service and explain the details in the Additional Information box. We will review everything before confirming the appointment.
